I'm using Stash on Windows 7 Pro, and I have noticed (today) that when I made some changes locally to a couple files, it appeared to me that Stash did not upload them. I was waiting for the notification to appear over the task try icon, but it never did. I tried pause and resume, then I shut down Stash and restarted it, but never got it. I also looked in the "Recent Activity", but didn't see anything. So I thought it just wasn't working until I logged in via the web and checked. It turns out that it did update (or at least it appears to have based on the file histories). Why wouldn't I have seen the notifications? I checked Preferences and notifications are enabled. So I'm not sure what is going on here.

Can you send your stash log files to stashbeta-support@mozy.com? Hopefully the log file tells us what happened to the notifications. You can create a collection of logs by right-clicking on the Stash icon, going to Help, then selecting Collect Log Files... from the menu.
Another thing I would suggest doing is checking your taskbar's notifications settings outside of the Stash preferences. The Windows taskbar will have individualized notification settings for each program residing in the system tray. To access these settings, right-click on an open space on your taskbar, select properties, then look for the section of the window titled Notification area. Select Customize, then check the list for Stash, and ensure that notifications aren't hidden.

That was days ago that that was happening. It seems to be working OK now. Thanks.
