local backup file format

with the local backup option, what format are the backup files kept in?  is it a proprietary format where you have to use the Mozy client to access them, or are they kept in their original Windows format where you can restore them simply with a windows explorer file copy?

It's basically just a copy/paste of the files, so you can use Explorer, cmd, or any file browser to get to the files and cp them over.
