I am getting account error 5 when installing Â Mozy for the first time on a windows 10 system

Is this computer an upgrade from an older Windows operating system or is this a new computer your adding Mozy to?
Usually this error is temporary however some times this error will persist and you need to follow the instructions from our knowledge base article for AccountError5
You'll most likely need "reconfigure" Mozy and try again. Re-configuring usually works every time.

Is this computer running Windows 10 like you mentioned but acting like a server?
To fix this error hold the Shift key and right click on the Mozy icon in your system tray and choose "Launch Setup Wizard". You will be asked for your user email and password. This will take you through the initial setup and should fix this error. Please post any questions or comments.
