WebRestore Search option does not work

I'm trying to locate files for restore and searching for them just does not work.  I can browse for the files and I can find them but when I attempt to search no files are found. For instance when I search for 1099* no files are found yet I have multiple files that start with 1099. The search finds ZERO files.  I was wondering if there is an issue with searches that start with numbers but a quick test shows that it does not matter what the search term is, nothing is found.

The first picture show that there are files present that match the search criteria.

The second picture shows the result of the search for 1099*

Is this a BUG?

Have you tried searching without asterix? Just tested wildcard and it worked for me, looks like a bug yes

Re: WebRestore Search option does not work

Hi I was able to duplicate it with and without the wild card.  Looking into it now.

Re: WebRestore Search option does not work

UkiwiS,

I was only able to duplicate the issue on your account.  There is something very unique about your account.  If you need to find all files with 1099 you may have to use the client (mozy backup software)  If you restore the folder they are contained in, they will be restored with that folder.   There are some known bugs with the search within web restore (not that I could duplicate with other accounts) and our Engineers are in the process of updating the Web Restore that include some bug fixes.  No ETA at this time.

Thank you,

Jeffwi
