NOt backing up files for 12 days

I had shutdown my PC while on vacation. Now it will not do automatic backups or manual backups.  I also run AVAST home security.

Thank you for posting in the Mozy community.

 

I'm showing that your backup on the 20th of this month is reporting a connectionError2.

 

With Avast running it's possible that it's now blocking us from making a good connection to our servers.

 

You need to add exclusions to for Mozy in Avast then reboot your computer.  When exclusions are added, make sure they are added to your program exclusion list and not the "do not scan" list which will only stop Avast from scanning Mozy rather than unblocking our software.

 

Here is a link to our knowledge base with a list of exclusions we require for our software to work properly with any antivirus or antimalware programs.

 

Once exclusions are added to Avast then please restart/reboot your computer since many antivirus / antimalware programs require a reboot before exclusions take full affect on your computer even though you might never be prompted to reboot after added exclusions.
