We have MozyPro for our office. I have selected the files we need to backup from our server, no problems there. But, when we look at the restore files view, there are folders and drives I have not selected for backup. It seems like it's just the folders too, no files. I am wondering if maybe they were selected for backup a long time ago, and are not selected now, so it leaves the empty folders but deletes the files. My question is, is it safe to delete the things I do not want from the restore window and run another backup?
Thank you for your post. Our web restore page will include empty folders unless empty folders are excluded in the "Actions" pane on the web restore page. If you are in the Mozy Restore tab in the Mozy settings then you should not see any empty folders. Will you please clarify which restore window you are looking at?
