How to schedule a backup (MozyHome)

You can configure MozyHome to run a backup automatically or at a scheduled time. This tutorial explains how.  

 

STEPS:

1. To set up a scheduled backup, right-click the Mozy icon in the system tray, then select Settings and then More Settings.
2. The Mozy Client Setting window appears. Click the Options tab that is located on top of the Settings window toward the center.
3. Click the Scheduling tab which will now appear below the Options tab
4. Select the type of backup you want to run.  You can choose to have the backup run automatically when the system meets certain parameters, such as the CPU being below a set percentage busy, the number of times being backed up a day and how long the computer has being idle. You can also choose the scheduled backup to run daily at your chosen time, using the drop down menus.
5. You can temporarily suspend backups by checking the box Temporarily suspend automatic and scheduled back ups.
6. When finished, click OK.
