How to retrieve the log file for Mozy Support (MozyPro)
This tutorial explains how to obtain the log file for Mozy Support if you are using a MozyPro Windows client.
1. To collect your log file for Mozy support right click the MozyHome icon while holding the shift button. 2. Select Collect Log File For Mozy Support when the Browse for Folder window appears 3. Select a directory to save the file(The example shows how to save it to the C: drive)
4. A status window will appear to show the progress of the data collection
5. When this is finished a zip file will appear in your chosen directory
6. Attach the file to an email and send to Mozy Support.
7. If you wish to view these files yourself you can extract them using your own extraction software(Winzip or WinRAR)
8. After extracting the zip file you will have a list of files. The one to open will be mozypro.log 9. The log file will open in your default word processing program
