Baffled - nothing (nothing!) works on the restore page

I need to do a couple of restores from my MozyHome account.

 

Login is fine, machine name is correct.

Click to restore and I get a dead screen (screen dump attached) - none (NONE!) of the links does anything. Search textbox wont let me in, Dashboard/Devices/EmergencyRestore/Help do nothing at all.

 

Yes - I have been patient for 30 minutes just in case Mozy is in some sort of deep planning mode: no sign of life at all!

I saw the same thing on both Internet Explorer and Firefox until I refreshed (Ctrl+F5) the page and then it showed up OK on me.  It must be something with their new UI not liking what the old one did.

Hi dupku,

 

I wanted to give your idea a try.

Unfortunately the Restore Files link now fails, so I can't even get back to the dead screen that I had before.

 

Not all is sweetness & light at the Mozy servers today :smileysad:

Now I have the (correctly formatted) restore screen and a wait-cursor.

Hmmmmmmm.

 

Sure! It's MY network connection causing the problem :smileyfrustrated:

...meanwhile my "faulty" network connection continues to let me update this saga.

Looks like Mozy-restore is now playing games with Ultrasurf protocol.

I'm having restore problems also with no help at all from Mozy in the past 24 hours. Ready to fire Mozy and find a new service! Just posted my restore comment for help from community since Mozy isnot helping...AT ALL!

Hi,

 

For those of you experiencing issues with access to the updated restore console, it is likely due to older data residing in your browser's cache.  Clearing your cache should resolve that issue.  For non-US customers there was a temporary loss of connection to one of our overseas data centers that may have caused you to receive connection errors while backing up or using the restore console.
