Auto-update not working

I have "Windows default: Auto-update" set in the Edit Client Version of the Admin Console, and yet, all of my clients are now out of date by one version.  My (perhaps naive) understanding of this setting is that clients would automatically update themselves.  If that's not the case, then what is this setting for?  And if it is the case, why are all of my clients out of date?

Here's what my daily status email says on the topic:

GCWKST01 (current version is MozyPro Windows 2.0.12.3, MozyPro Windows 2.2.0.6 is recommended)

ROBSLAPTOP (current version is MozyPro Windows 2.0.12.3, MozyPro Windows 2.2.0.6 is recommended)

TOMSLAPTOP (current version is MozyPro Windows 2.0.12.3, MozyPro Windows 2.2.0.6 is recommended)

Do I really have to go and update each client by hand?

Re: Auto-update not working

GrandCruWine,

There were so many problems with the release of 2.0 that they decided to release 2.2.0.6 more slowly.  On one machine I updated manually.  For my other machine I will wait for the automatic update.  They may not push 2.2.0.6 but wait for the next version to auto update.  2.2.0.6 is working fine for me but for some who use the system differently than I do, there are issues.

I recommend if it is working to just wait.  I'm running MozyHome Unlimited 2.2.0.6 not MozyPro but I think the issues are pretty much the same.

Eek! Thanks for the info.  Sometimes being lazy pays off.
