Hello,

I have been unable to perform AD restores using backups taken from a production machine into a DR test environment.

The documentation says to restore AD and SYSVOL but there is no SYSVOL selection available in the MozyPro Client. (see attached)

Has anyone else been able to succesfully restore thier AD environment using MozyPro?

If so, you would you kindly share your experiences or knowledge gained?

Hi Ed,

We can backup the SYSVOL just fine, you need to make sure the VSS backup sets are activated.

Follow the steps 10-15 from this KB:

And make sure the key hkey_local_machine\software\mozypro\options\vssbackupsetsupport is set to 1

New backup sets will be populated if detected from the backup sets tab.

trinityserv, We do backup AD; just have a look at dfdev first post, the screenshots show the AD VSS selection.
