when trying to backup, i get the red flag in the icon on the menu bar for 1 second then nothing. every time i hit the back now menu command, same story. uninstalled, reinstalled and still refuses to backup
I would recommend that you do a clean install of our most recent client version for Mac. If you login to your account online at Mozy.com, you should be able to see that link under the "download" link there. To do the clean install, please completely uninstall Mozy from your Mac, and make sure that you do not save the configuration file when prompted during the uninstall process. Next, reboot, and then install the new package and reselect your files for backup.

I did a fast uninstall and then installed the lastest 2.5 website version and it works but painfully slow as i am watching network traffic through little snitch (at least wrt. dropbox). I'm sorry to say that i've been trying an alternative soft for my backup.
