I've moved machines from one computer to another. I'd like to backup my existing files onto my new machine. I run the MozyRestoreManager to download the files, it starts, then stops when it tries to calculate how many files it's downloading. How do I get it to run and restore my files to my new computer? Thanks.

Rozska,
Are you restoring the file onto Mac or Windows machine?
Have you already reinstalled the MozyHome Client?
If you have, you can click the MozyHome icon in the Status Bar and select "Restore Files...", it will bring up the Restore interface of the client and you will be able to restore your files from there.
Here is the Online Documentation Article that explains in detail how to perform a restore from the client :

Thanks

I'm trying to move my files from one mac to another.
I'm following the instructions.
MozyRestore Manager keeps failing. It tries to find the files, finds about 2.5 GB, then dies.
Any advice?

Rozska,
I would suggest you to reinstall Mozy on the new Mac and perform the restore from the Client itself.
Follow the instruction given in the Documentation Article below and uncheck the box 'I want to restore files now (launches a web browser)' at the last step :
http://docs.mozy.com/docs/en/user-home-mac/guide/t
Once the client installed on the new machine, follow the article given in my first post to perform the restore from the client :
http://docs.mozy.com/docs/en/user-home-mac/guide/t
Thanks
