Re: Linux Activation Tutorial

I get the error message "Unable to connect to mozybackup service at /var/run/mozy.sock
Verify that you have sufficient privileges and that the service is started." when I try to activate Mozybackup.

What can I do?

Kind regards

Florian Müller

Re: Linux Activation Tutorial

Try running these commands:

sudo service mozybackup stop
sudo service mozybackup start

then continue with the activation.

Re: Linux Activation Tutorial

Did @AngelinaS response address your issue?

On some RPM distro's, the mozybackup service does not start with the install.

It may need to be started manually.
