Selecting files for backup using the File System tab (MozyPro)

This tutorial explains how to select files for backup using the File System tab in the MozyPro software.

  1. Right-click the Mozy icon in the system tray, then select Settings and then More Settings.
  2. The Mozy Client Setting window appears. Note the bottom of the window indicates how much storage you have all together and how much is available. Click the tab named File System. Like Window Explorer, the folders appear on the left and the files appear on the right.
  3. Select the files or folders you want to back up by checking the box next to it. If you select a folder, all the files within the folder are selected for back up. If you wish to deselect a file or folder, uncheck the box. (Note: System Files are hidden. If you wish to make them visible, select the option Show all protected operating system files in the Options tab.)
  4. Click OK.
