Selecting Files for Backup using Backup Sets (MozyPro)

This tutorial explains how to select files for Backup using Backup Sets.

  1. Right-click the Mozy icon in the system tray, then select Settings and then More Settings.
  2. The Mozy Client Setting window appears. Click the Backup sets tab. A list of backup sets is displayed in the left pane. When you click on a backup set, all the files matching that back up set appear in the right pane. If there are no files that match a pre configured backup set, the pre configured backup set does not appear in this list. You can change this by selecting Show all pre-configured back-up sets in the Advanced tab with the Options Tab.
  3. To include a backup set as part of your backup, check the box next to the backup set.
  4. You can create a back up set by right clicking on the left pane and clicking Add Backup Set. The backup set editor window opens and you can name the new Back up set, specific where the backup set will search for files that match its criteria and you can create rules to specify what will and won’t be included for back up.
  5. Click OK and the new backup set is added to the list in the left pane.
