This tutorial explains how to obtain the log file for Mozy Support if you are using a MozyHome Windows client.
Customer support may require a log file. A log file is a record of the Mozy client’s activities and is helpful in troubleshooting problems. To locate the log file, right click the MozyHome icon located in the task bar while holding the shift button.
In the right click menu, select Collect Log File For Mozy Support
A window, Browse For Folder appears. Here, select a directory to save the file. When finished, a zip file appears in your chosen location.
Attach the file to an email and send it to Mozy Support. If you wish to read the log files, extract the files using your private extraction software and click on the file Mozy.log. The log file opens in your default word processing software.
