Separate Sync and Backup services into two, with different pricing

I posted this in the general community two years ago.

Since then, nothing like it has happened, and Mozy's pricing has gotten farther and farther out-of-sync (pun intended) with the competition (Google, Dropbox, ..)

I use Mozy Sync (in a free account, 2GB of storage plus a little more for some referrals). I do NOT use Mozy (Backup). (I use a competitor Pro for backup; it's much cheaper and much better).

A Sync-only service should be sold separate from Backup service. (And prices per-GB of storage should be brought into line with reality).

Re: Separate Sync and Backup services into two, with different pricing

@libove Thanks for reaching out to us. Did you originally post this in the idea exchange? I just recently took over the idea exchange and I'm not seeing it in there. Would you mind posting this there and I will take it to the next priority meeting?

Thank you,

Zach M.
