Problem with app after iOS5 update

My iPhone Mozy app worked just fine until I upgraded to iOS 5. After that, I had to set up all my apps again including Mozy. Despite inputting the correct user name & password several times I continue to be unable to log on. I logged on on my PC to make sure the user name & pw were still valid and they are. Anyone else having problems after the upgrade to iOS 5? (It shouldn't make any difference, buy mine account is a Mozy Pro account)

It depends which username/password combination you are using. When I look at your account, I see that your admin email and the user email are the same, but it's possible that the passwords are different.

Think of it like this:

You have an account for your business, where you back up one computer for one person. Say you had another employee come in and wanted to back up as well. You would create a 2nd user account, with his own email and password. Then a 3rd, then a 4th, and so on. Well, right now, you only have 1 user. So you have a login for the administrative features of the account, but then you have a different login for the user.

 

So, here's what I would do. Log in to the Mozy admin console, click on "Search/List Users" on the left, then click on the user that shows on up the right. Once that is pulled up, click on the "Change User Password" link, then set a password that you will remember. After that, put in that same email address and password in to the iPhone app and it should work without issue.

Well, I can try all that but, as you point out, I have only one user, one sign on, and my PC sign on still works fine and my iPhone app worked fine with the same sign on prior to the iOS 5 update. Now it doesn't. I don't see how all this is going to change that, but I'll review the steps in your reply.

The only reason it would be different is if you were logging in to the admin console with that password and assumed that it was the global password for everything. If you used that same password on the desktop client, however, that's when it would get weird.
