android app login

I am trying to log into the android app I downloaded on my Samsung phone, but when I put in my email and password (which work fine for web login), it tells me I have to enter a valid email address.  What's up with that?

You should be able to login. It might be that there was a half finished sign up with your email address, and it may have conflicted. I cleared that, try it again.

I tried entering my email and password multiple times.  Changed my password.  Entered it all again.  Still doesn't work.

Do you have another device you can try to log in with? Also, try reinstalling the app. I've never seen it deny correct credentials before, but that doesn't mean it's impossible.

As you are a MozyPro account, the Mozy Mobile app is requesting your user credentials, which may be different than your admin credentials used to sign into Mozy.  Mozy Mobile is for user access, meaning to view and download files backed up.  This is why it requires user credentials. 

 

Please follow the steps in the KB Article for Changing User Password to allow access to view your files. 

 

@bgnyc, do you now have access to your account through the Mozy Mobile app?
