I can enter my passcode and open App for Android but when I try to open any folder on the Documents screen I get an Authorization Failure error message.

I am also experiencing this defect. The Android app has worked well enough for me, for over a year.
It is disappointing that Mozy has had several weeks to fix this defect but, according to this thread, there is yet no fix.
The current ETA for this fix is set for the end of this month.
The release of a bugfix for the mobile app was deployed today. This should fix all issues related to 'Error Authorization failure' on Android , or , "ERROR The server did not respond. Please try again" on iOS(iPhone and iPad). If you still have any problems please let's know. Thank you for your patience.
As of 2PM EDT, Friday 3Sep15, there is no new version on Google Play. So I don't understand the announcement. I have 1.7 installed and that's the latest version shown for Mozy on the Play store.
I apologize for not saying there is no new version of the app available, the fix was applied to the current version. I hope that helps.
OK, thanks for that clarification. I tried to download several files and all worked.
Can't help observing that it seems weird to fix a defect but not increment the version number. Or probably what you meant is, the fix was applied server-side.
But I am glad to have access once again, from my Android device, to my backed-up files.
