Change the install process to include a screen that only has the info highlighted in this screen shot:
Have the user agree that they understand this before the install completes.

I hesitate to add another step to the install process since it seems that most people know how Mozy works... but it seems important enough to highlight this during the install.(and maybe during the account creation process) for the small percentage of those that don't understand. Losing files in a manner mentioned in those two threads is painful.
