Managing expired credit cards
My credit card had expired, so kindly got a couple of emails informing me to update my details. After signing in to my account, sure enough, there is a notice:
Important Message from Mozy!
An attempt to charge your credit card was unsuccessful. Please update your credit card immediately to continue your backup service.
So I update my credit card details, and am returned to the account page with a notification (thanks for updating your details), but the big scary red notice remains.
Surely, you could either:
Charge the card immediately for the outstanding balance and get rid of the scary red notice.
Change from a scary red notice to maybe a more soothing orange notice along the lines of "thanks for updating your details, we'll try charging your card again on the next billing run".
Either way, that red notice should be gone once the action is completed.
