Testing Backups

Below is link to webinar mentioned in the January issue of Mozy newsletter. The webinar reminded me about importance of checking backups every month or every other month.  I learned the importance of checking backups several months ago when Windows 10 Fall Creators Update caused glitch that blocked backups on my computer.

Can you give us some more specific information regarding your issue.  Are you getting a blue or green screen of death? (BSOD or GSOD)

Testing backup caused my to discover an issue with scheduling of backups - the backups had stopped.  Backups of OneDrive folder on my C drive (which syncs with OneDrive in Cloud) stopped working after reinstall of Windows 10.  Issue was resolved by switching off sleep/hibernate and changing backup from continuous to timed.  For more details, see the comment made in Community about Scheduling Backups:
