What's new with Mozy on Windows and Mac?

A couple new updates were released for the Windows and Mac client that I wanted to bring to your attention. Windows 10 users will want to update to version 2.32.6 which supports the newer versions of the operating system.

Windows (version 2.32.6)

 

New or Changed Features

 

  • Enhanced the backup software security (TLS 1.2).
  • Enhanced the backup software installation program to support the newer versions of Windows 10.

 

Mac (version 2.16.2)

 

Issues Fixed

 

  • Fixed a rare issue that caused errors because the backup software was waiting for communications from the data center.
  • Fixed a rare issue that caused the backup software to continue to retry sending updated file information to the data center when there was a problem, instead of only attempting to send the information a few times.

All past and future updates can be found in the link below for all Mozy operating system clients including Windows, Mac, and Linux, as well as for the Admin Console, Restore Manager, Sync and Mobile.
