How do I Create a New Forum Topic in the Mozy Community?
Last week we discussed how to sign up for the Mozy Community, and if you're new to the Community or haven't used it much, you may be unsure how to start a new thread to receive support or ask questions. Well, if that's the case, you're in the right place! Today we're going to talk about how to create a new forum topic/thread in the Mozy Community.
The Mozy Community is a great place to get feedback on issues, ideas, and questions from Mozy Support and other Mozy users. If you have something you need assistance with and would like to bring it up in the Mozy Community, please follow these steps.
Make Sure You're Registered for the Mozy Community
Before anything else, the first thing you'll want to do is make sure you're a registered Community member.
First, before creating a new topic regarding your issue, do a quick search for existing threads. It may be something someone else has already brought up and opened a Community topic about, and there may already be a ready-to-go answer for you and lots of great feedback from other Mozy users and Support. Not only does it pull up Community threads, but also related blogs and other information within the Community.
Enter the main question or key words from your topic in the search bar under Ask the Community
This will now bring up a list of all existing threads that may be related to what you're looking for. Take a moment to look through them and see if any of them are applicable and if your issue is addressed already. If one is, click on the thread and you can go in and look at the responses and solutions.
Create a New Community Topic/Thread
If you didn't find your issue in the previous threads, you can create a new topic of conversation by following these steps:
