This tutorial outlines the steps for changing a user's password on the MozyPro Admin Console.
STEPS:
- Log in to your account at https://mozy.com/login, using your email address and password.
- Click Search/List Users in the left hand menu, in the category of Users.
- Enter the user's email address in the search field and click Submit.
- Click on the user's email address. Here you can see details about the user.
- Click Change User Password.
- In the Password field, enter the new password. Re-enter your password in the Confirm Password field.
- Click Save Changes. The user’s password has now being changed.
Updating the user's password on their computer:
- The user must update his password on their local machine. Right-click the Mozy icon in the system tray, then select Settings in the menu.
- An error message appears as the previous password has been made invalid. Click OK.
- A window asking for Log in credentials appears. Enter the new user password and click Login.
- The password has been changed on the machine. Now repeat steps 1-4 with each computer assigned to this user.
